It only took a few words to convince me that I wanted to attend The BPM Festival for the first time this coming January: It's on a beach in Mexico.
Residing in New York, this festival not only excites me because it takes place on the tropical beaches of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, but that it also stretches an entire 10 days, whisking me away from an entire winter week in NYC and replacing it with sun, sand, and a whole lot of sexy ass underground electronic music.
For those unaware, The BPM Festival gathers the best house and techno DJs in the world and sticks them on a beach, while they play at different showcases, most of the time more than once over the course of the festival - if you miss Carl Cox once don't worry, you'll see him before you leave.
Presented by Mixmag from January 6-15, thousands of die-hard music fans from all over the world will gather for 10 days to celebrate 10 years of The BPM Festival with over 30 showcases including YA’AH MUUL Jungle party on opening and closing weekends, January 7 & 14.
The trailer to the official documentary, The BPM Festival: Dancing in Paradise should get you pumped and at the same time cringing even THINKING about the FOMO...
Then you can go purchase your 3-Day Opening & Closing Weekend, 7-Day, or 10-Day pass while supplies last at www.thebpmfestival.com/tickets.
