For those of you who don't read this blog that often, or for those of you who are dance music illiterate, Avicii is actually NOT a country singer. So, for those times you listened to Avicii's hit single waiting for a photo of him to be released in a cowboy hat and making a guest appearance on the ABC television show "Nashville," well you won't be seeing that anytime soon. But for those of you who actually know who Avicii is, reacted to his Ultra 2013 Liveset and have been through the Tim Berg, Levels ID and finally now to the release of the album "True," well kudos to you.
Today I'm presenting a campaign Beats By Dre, the infamous headphone and audio accessory company put together with "Wake Me Up" vocalist, Aloe Blacc. Both videos below feature Brooklyn Nets Forward Kevin Garnett and San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick who venture on a road trip to an opposing teams' stadium to only find bickering fans outside throwing objects at the bus' window, calling them a loser, awful player, and many hateful things. However, it seems that the magic of the Beats are once again depicted in these extended length commercials, as both Kaepernick and Garnett both put on brand new Beats headphones to the tune "The Man" by Aloe Blacc.
Not only is the Avicii featured vocalist's tune the perfect 'pump-up' song for sporting events like this, but also reflects a great message behind what the public may think about individuals in sports and those in the music industry as well. Definitely watch these two videos, enjoy the Aloe Blacc song and be sure to grab the Wake Me Up EP now out on iTunes!
