Bad Kids Collective Announce Parnership with Ronin

January 9, 2014 -

Over the past year, Bad Kids Clothing has become an iconic clothing brand for the East Coast Electronic Dance Music scene. They are much more than a clothing brand these days, though, and they are expanding exponentially. On January 6, 2014 they announced their revision to Bad Kids Collective, which now includes events, a web series, and a DJ spotlight page. Today, we are proud to announce the official partnership between Bad Kids Collective and one of our favorite DJ duo's, Ronin!

What does it all mean?! Well, the Bad Kids DJ spotlight features up-and-coming EDM producers that you should be on the look out for in 2014 and beyond. Each artist has their own definition of what it means to be "bad" and will have that interpreted into a custom t-shirt designed and sold on the website! Here's what the boys of Ronin have to say:

Ryan Farber: "Why am I bad? Because I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I prefer
clarity of the mind over Zedd's Clarity. I biked 470 miles down the coast of
California by myself. I am bad because I am inspired by everything. Music
has been the forefront of everything I do and I don't plan to stop anytime
soon."

Ryan Touhill: "What makes me bad? First thought to be honest is the meaning of the
word bad. To the basic people, the word might just symbolize something
that is 'not good'. But in truth I think it represents going outside what has
been predetermined for you, the 'societal norm'. I’m bad because the
societal norm freaks me out. I can’t see myself being succumbed to a 9-5
job, living out my life at the discretion of someone else’s wishes. My heart
beats at 128bpm, although it’s been known to fluctuate to all beats wild
and weird. My friends are melodies, and my family is the group of people
that love the wild journey that is music, no matter what the real world
throws in our face."

"When weird becomes normal, normality is no longer relevant."  This is true for Bad Kids Collective in that "embracing oneself, living in the moment, and always being thankful for those weird quirks and strange qualities that make you different are what bring Ronin and the Bad Kids together." Their individual spotlight page consists of a short bio and the relationship Bad Kids Collective and Ronin share.

The Bad Kids and Ronin will be working together throughout 2014 to bring you the best and BADDEST music, apparel, and events! We look forward to bringing you on this ridiculous journey but in the mean time, check out this exclusive "Bad Life Mix" available for FREE download!!
