Art Imitating Life: "Riot" - DDei&Estate

February 26, 2014 -

It's no secret that certain parts of the world are in constant turmoil. Although it's not as publicized as some may like, the current crisis that Venezuela and the Ukraine are facing have reached tragic proportions. Ukrainian protests have taken a devastating toll on the people of Kiev. The head of the protestors' medical service told CNN representatives that the death toll had reached 100 by last Thursday, with 500 more injured. Riot was released yesterday by German producers DDei&Estate, who included high-pitched synths to enhance the electro beat. It's hard not to think of these countries with a track so well suited for the current global distress.
