Amtrac Crashes Into Couture Hollywood

Amtrac Crashes Into Couture Hollywood

Last week Couture was a house haven as RaveJunky and Outspoken played host to Amtrac and Honest, and although Couture is a small club, the night was far from it. By the time we arrived at Couture Honest was manning the decks and the crowd was feeding off his energy like a pack of rabid wolves. With every transition and four on the floor beat the energy on the dance floor seemed to continue to grow. This was the second time I’ve been able to see Honest and although he impressed me the first time around, he definitely has improved by leaps and bounds and is going to be an artist to keep an eye on in the near future.

After Honest put a capstone on his set the crowd was buzzing with excitement as it was Amtrac’s turn next to set the tone for the night. I first began to follow Amtrac when I first heard his remix of Two Door Cinema Club’s Handshake and ever since then his music has been a mainstay on my Soundcloud. And although he didn’t play Handshake he did play plenty of other tracks that had everyone leaving whatever they had left on the dance floor of Couture, myself included. From his catchy melodies and enticing kick snare rhythms the only regret I had from the night was that I didn’t see Amtrac sooner.

After the final note had been cast off and with the night still fresh in our minds my friend who primarily listens to bass music had one thing to say about what had just happened, “damn that was awesome”, and he was right. Outspoken and Ravejunky came together to put on an absolutely amazing night, and they are back at it again tonight with DJ Pierre and Doc Martin. You can grab your tickets HERE.
