Few producers can boast the amount of success Tritonal enjoyed in 2011; that year, the Texas-based duo saw eight tracks off their debut album reach the Beatport Top 20. Fast-forward to 2015, and Tritonal's resume has grown to near legendary status. A long-standing radio show, record label, and hundreds of original and remixed tracks are just a few accomplishments under the group's belt.
Now, Tritonal has announced the release date of the highly anticipated follow up to their first compilation. Scheduled to release March 9th through Enhanced Music, Tritonia 002 will feature 22 tracks, including 20 exclusive releases. A number of up-and-coming and established artists show off their talents on the comp; names from Kill the Buzz to Uforik can all be seen on the tracklist.
Daily-Beat was lucky enough to get a preview for each of the 22-tracks. After listening, its easy to say that Tritonians will not be disappointed. The compilation has everything you'd expect from the group; sexy vocals and melodic trance buildups are expertly combined with energetic bigroom drops. It may not appeal to the trance purist, but its impossible to deny the pristine production quality of these trouse tunes. You'll find yourself both singing along and wanting to bounce on multiple occasions. That being said, the comp is not completely homogeneous. Electrohouse fans will find a number of impressive tracks by artists such as The Disco Fries and Cuebrick.
It's always something special when artists can combine mainstream appeal with substantial lyrical quality, and theirs no shortage of this on Tritonia 002. Tracks like "Playing with Fire" and "Eclipse" are not to be missed, regardless of your genre preference. Tritonal's ability to both produce and discover talent that will woo festival crowds is on full display with their latest compilation. If this comp is any indication of whats to come, Enhanced Music will be a label to watch in upcoming years.
